2. Cookies We Use

  • No selling or sharing of data with data brokers

3. Global Privacy Control (GPC) Support

2026 Requirement

Cyqle fully supports the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as required by 2026 privacy regulations.

What is GPC?

Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a browser setting that allows you to automatically opt out of data sharing and sale across all websites you visit. When enabled, your browser sends a "GPC: 1" signal in the HTTP headers.

How Cyqle Honors GPC Signals

  • When we detect a GPC signal, we automatically treat it as if you clicked "Reject All" on our cookie banner
  • We disable all optional cookies and analytics tracking
  • Your GPC preference is respected on every page load without requiring additional clicks

How to Enable GPC

You can enable GPC in the following browsers:

  • Brave Browser: Settings → Shields → Global Privacy Control
  • Firefox: Install the Global Privacy Control extension
  • Chrome/Edge: Install the Global Privacy Control extension

4. Cookie Banner Design (Symmetry of Choice)

Equal Prominence

Under 2026 regulations, cookie consent banners must provide equal prominence to both accepting and rejecting cookies. Our banner complies with these requirements.

Symmetry of Choice Requirement

We provide "Accept All" and "Reject All" buttons with equal visual prominence (same size, color intensity, and positioning). Neither option is pre-selected or designed to manipulate your choice.

Example Cookie Banner:

We use cookies to improve your experience. You can choose to accept or reject optional cookies.

Design Requirements Met

  • Equal button size and visual weight for Accept and Reject options
  • No dark patterns (e.g., hiding the reject button, using guilt-inducing language)
  • Clear explanation of what each option means
  • Easy access to customize granular preferences
